There are numerous different types of outdoor patio furniture. Some people have wooden decks overlooking a pool, river, lake, pond, etc.. Other just have a nice huge deck that needs patio furniture.
The popularity is growing towards Chaise Lounges, this type of chair is relaxing, built to last and easy to clean. However they do take up a little more room than normal patio furniture.
October is a great month to purchase outdoor furniture as many of the "big box" stores have sales. Currently at Target and Walmart chaise lounges are on sale.
